What is a Terrarium?
A terrarium is a collection of plants growing in a  closed clear glass container and can be opened for maintenance to access the plants inside.
Terrarium is most suitable for displaying plants that do not thrive well in a normal home atmosphere.
With suitable planting, it creates a mini ecosystem in the glass case, giving you minor maintenance.
In our urban lifestyle, terrariums make exotic indoor decorations and excellent gift items.

How Terrarium work

Terrariums are a good way to keep plants indoor with minimum care as they provide a self-sufficient environment. A closed terrarium can sustain without water for months.

Moisture in the terrarium will evaporate from the soil and leaves. It condenses into water on the terrarium wall and falls back down to remoisten the soil.

Terrariums must not receivedirect sunlight as the air temparature will increase inside and may burn the plants.

Our terrarium are equipped with 20-25 watt energy saving cool day lights. Photosynthesis will take place under this sufficient artificial light and results in plant growth.

How to maintain your terrarium?

  1.  Place terrarium indoor.

  2. Switch on LED daylight 6-8 hours daily.
    (Caution : No Direct sunlight)

  3. Closed terrarium will not need watering for months. Spray water once every 3-6 months.

  4. Water plants only when the soil is dry to the touch, or when fogging on the glass stops.

  5. Do not open the door too often. Don't worry if the glass become foggy, it's due to condensation of water.

  6. Trim off dry and wilted leaves. Make sure to remove all leaves trimmed from terrarium.

  7. Do not add any fertilizer unless the plants turn slightly yellowish.
